Lifestyle & Real Estate Blog

Hello and welcome to my website!

I am so happy you are here! Excited does not cover how I feel about the prospect of being your agent and helping you buy that home you have been dreaming about so vividly for years. The fact that you trust me to be involved with arguably the most expensive and emotional financial purchase of your life makes me so appreciative and please rest in knowing that I do not take this lightly.

As you see on my homepage, my value proposition statement is DISTINCTIVE SERVICE | GRIT | LOYALTY. This is exactly what you will get when I am your agent.  But what does it mean?

Why should you work with me?

You are an individual with specific wants, needs, dreams and whys; I first and foremost want to learn about you so, that I can deliver you the most tailored service. As I begin to know you specifically, I can then offer you the most appropriate avenues to get us to the finish line which is your dream home!

But it won’t end there, I am confident that this will be the start of a robust and happy relationship for both of us.

If you read my bio, you know that I have had a colourful  career path, it’s been anything but linear! This has made me into a very strong, determined and focused individual.

Have you ever lost something you put your heart and soul in … and not to mention cash?

“Rock bottom became the solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life.” ~JK Rowling~

I have.

I ended up losing all of my capital which I was saving for the purposes of building an empire and legacy for myself and my two boys. If you have lost a business or experienced a huge financial loss then you know how devastating this can be and if you haven’t, believe me it is not fun.

At the time of my clothing store I was a single mom with a burning aspiration to be an entrepreneur. When my store was up and running it was a feeling of euphoria, I had done it, I had planned for over a year, saved and created this brick and mortar store where people were happily shopping!

I absolutely loved helping my customers find the right fit and when they looked in the mirror and smiled at what they saw the feeling was incredible.

Unfortunately, the house of cards came down hard and the reality of well, a few things hit me smack in the face.

I won’t bore you with the details, you see the picture I’m painting.

This brings me to the grit part. Yes, it was the hardest thing of my life to come out of that, but I got back up and I was better, more resolved and pin head focused. Also, I wanted to use this as a teaching moment for my kids; when you get knocked down, the important thing is dusting yourself off and getting back up. In my case it was also putting back my shoulders, slapping on my heels and facing the world!

My experience in losing it all makes me a very grit-filled person; wouldn’t you want an agent like that?

Loyalty is very important to me in my life. Trustworthiness is entwined into loyalty and this is something that is engrained in me.

Of course, in an agency relationship we have a duty of loyalty to uphold. This duty is not difficult for me to perform as I am stitched with both loyalty and trustworthiness, as I said above, it’s just innate.

I will be by your side offering my guidance and opinion on what I believe is your best option to suit your needs and wants – not to suit my own. Even if you do not want to hear this; I will advise you on the best route to take even when we do not necessarily agree.

I will not tell you what you want to hear, but what you need to hear.

Remember, my job is to guide you to the best of my ability to get us to the finish line!

These are my values and I take them very seriously. Speaking of serious, yes, we need to be diligent and detailed, but I guarantee you we are also going to have a lot of fun!

I invite you to look around my website and if you see a property you fancy, give me a call.

I am looking forward to answering any questions you have and assist in turning your real estate fantasies into reality.

Thank you!

Thank you again for your trust, it means the world.

My very best wishes,

Shannon Denise
